Eric began his career as a financial professional in 2006 with a focus on delivering comprehensive financial planning solutions for individuals, business owners, and executives. Since the beginning of his career, it has been his personal and professional mission to help as many people accomplish their financial goals as possible.One of the earliest events that has shaped how Eric thinks about financial planning was the “Great Recession” of 2007-2009 and the fallout that resulted.

It was during this period that confirmed the value of helping his clients create and implement a plan and to expect the unexpected. With this concept in mind and a passion to help his clients achieve success, Eric believes that the key to creating an achievable financial plan is to continue to track progress, and update strategies as life evolves, markets fluctuate, and tax and estate laws change over time.

Eric has earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) professional designation advancing his knowledge through training in making a comprehensive assessment of an individual’s pre- and post-retirement needs including managing cash flow, accumulating wealth, understanding sources of income, income taxes, estate planning.

Early in Eric’s career he was surprised to learn that many financial advisors do not work with their client’s other professionals including accountants and attorneys to ensure the client receives complete and comprehensive advice and counsel. As part of Eric’s financial planning and wealth management advice service, he has focused on working with his clients outside professionals including accountants and attorneys.

Eric has always believed in the power of collaboration on behalf of his clients throughout the ongoing planning process. This approach has been a crucial aspect to helping his clients remain on track to achieve their goals by incorporating tax and estate planning strategies especially during periods of change in the tax and estate regulatory environment.

On a personal note, Eric is married to his wife, Psychologist Dr. Laura Dieckhoff. Eric and Laura have two beautiful boys, in addition to their two dogs who are considered part of their family. In his free time, Eric enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, working on cars, and completing projects around the house.
